Truckin’ In Heels Across America: Bertha: Grateful Drag Adds 2025 Shows
The Grateful Dead tribute with a twist will perform on both coasts and cities in between from August through November.

Bertha: Grateful Drag announced a run of new performances for 2025, bringing their inventive celebration of Grateful Dead music to venues across the country. The shows will span from August through November, hitting major cities in the Midwest, East Coast and West Coast.
The innovative tribute act combines Grateful Dead music with drag performance artistry, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for Deadheads and LGBTQ+ fans alike. For each show, the group has partnered with PLUS1 to ensure $1 from every ticket sold goes to local organizations supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Bertha’s late-summer itinerary begins with Midwest performances in Milwaukee on August 6 and Madison (Wisconsin) on August 7. After a brief break, the group returns for an East Coast run starting in Philadelphia on September 26, followed by Washington D.C. on September 27.
In October, Bertha continues their East Coast tour with shows in Hartford (Connecticut) on October 1, Brooklyn on October 2 and Cambridge (Massachusetts) on October 4.
The final leg brings Bertha to the West Coast in November with a performance in Los Angeles on November 19, followed by a two-night stand in San Francisco. Grateful Drag will play the Great American Music Hall on November 21 and 22, the venue where the Dead played the famed One From The Vault show in 1975.
A presale for tickets begins Wednesday, April 16 at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale following on Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. local time. “We’re hitting cities across the country and we can’t wait to bring this Grateful Drag realness your way,” the group shared in their announcement. “You don’t want to miss this!”
