Steven Bernstein to Join My Morning Jacket on New Year’s Eve

Sex Mob slide trumpet guru and all around gifted musical madman Steven Bernstein will join My Morning Jacket on New Year’s Eve at Madison Square Garden.

The nature of this collaboration is still unknown, but one assumes Bernstein will play a similar role as Jeff Coffin did at the last Bonnaroo, perhaps adding his skills to a number of covers as well as Jacket originals.

Bernstein has been touring with Levon Helm and will join the drummer for his Midnight Ramble this Saturday.
