Bernie Worrell Honored At All The Woo In The World Fundraiser

Last night, New York City’s Webster Hall hosted an all-star fundraiser for legendary keyboardist Bernie Worrell, who is battling cancer. The “All The Woo In The World” show featured over four hours of funk performed by George Clinton, Questlove, Jon Batiste, Bootsy Collins, Living Colour, Parliment-Funkadelic, Paul Shaffer and the World’s Most Dangerous Band, Steve Scales, Bill Laswell, Buckethead, Fred Schneider, Leo Nocentelli, Jerry Harrison, Screaming Headless Torsos, The Woo Warriors, Nona Hendryx, Melvin Gibbs, Mudone, Black Rock Coalition Orchestra and more. Worrell himself was on hand as was famed actress Meryl Streep, director Jonathan Demme and Talking Heads frontman David Byrne.
