Berklee College Of Music 5 Week String Orchestra Covers ‘Whipping Post’

Berklee College Of Music recently completed its 5 Week Summer Program for pre-college students studying an instrument or voice. The program’s String Orchestra recently performed a cover a classic The Allman Brothers Band song and share video of the arrangement.

The 12-piece ensemble featured harp, violin, cello and other string instruments. The group of students performed an instrumental rendition of “Whipping Post,” which was written by Gregg Allman and originally issued on The Allman Brothers Band’s 1969 self-titled debut album.
