Benedict Cumberbatch Joins David Gilmour In London

Last night David Gilmour held the third of five shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall. During the encore the Pink Floyd guitarist was joined by British actor Benedict Cumberbatch who sang one of the legendary band’s classic songs.
Gilmour and his band stuck to their standard setlist that mixed Floyd favorites such as “The Great Gig in the Sky,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Money,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and “Run Like Hell” with solo material including tracks from his recently issued LP Rattle That Lock. The encore began in typical fashion with Gilmour performing Dark Side Of The Moon cuts “Time” and “Breathe (Reprise)” before launching into “Comfortably Numb” during which Cumberbatch emerged to lend vocals.
