Ben Folds and CAKE have confirmed details of a summer co-headlining tour. The run of shows will take place this August and feature support from Tall Heights.
The co-headlining tour will begin on August 13 at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion in Boston. They will then head to the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on August 15 followed by The Mann Center in Philadelphia on August 16, Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, New York on August 17, Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on August 17 and Classic Amphitheatre in Richmond, Virginia on August 19.
“Cake — my rough contemporaries, comrades and heroes — to me, they make universal, poetic, identifiable music with a groove. I’ve learned a lot from these guys and I’m proud as punch to be on tour with them this summer,” said Folds. “I’m telling my friends to get there early enough for Tall Heights – a great addition to this bill.”
Ben Folds, Cake and Tall Heights will also perform at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on August 21, at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, Illinois on August 22, in Milwaukee at BMO Harris Bank Center on August 23 and in Indianapolis at Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn at White River State Park on August 25.

“Ben Folds has been a friend to us, a tour partner in the past, and for a long time we have had great respect for him,” said Cake’s Vincent DiFiore. “Cake is looking forward to expressing our identity through music this summer, and the chemistry of our evening together with Ben and his band will be an inspiring jolt for us and the audience.”
