On this date in 2003 Béla Fleck and the Flecktones brought a tour in support of Little Worlds to The Fillmore in San Francisco. The lineup at the time of Fleck, bassist Victor Wooten, drummer Futureman and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Coffin was joined by legendary mandolin player David Grisman and jazz bassoonist David Grisman for portions of the show. A crispy recording of the entire concert can be streamed below.

Bela Fleck And The Flecktones focused heavily on material from Little Worlds throughout their performance at The Fillmore. The band starts off with five songs off 3-disc set before welcoming Hanson for “Scratch And Sniff.” Paul Hanson returns later in the set for “Something She Said” and “A Moment So Close.” Fleck welcomed Grisman to the stage towards the end of the set. Bela and Dawg start off with a duet ahead of takes on “Am Latin” and “Sleeping Dogs Lie,” both of which featured Hanson as well.

The band shared an official soundboard recording of their San Francisco ’03 show:
