Béla Fleck And The Flecktones Confirm 8 Summer 2018 Tour Dates

Two summers ago, iconic quartet Bela Fleck and the Flecktones came together for a tour that ended a four-year hiatus. As reported, the quartet will embark on a summer tour later this year that is expected to span late June through early July. The Flecktones have now confirmed eight of those dates.

Béla Fleck, Victor Wooten, Roy “Futureman” Wooten and Howard Levy are currently set to begin the run at Eastman Theater in Rochester on June 26. Then, the foursome brings the tour to Toronto and Ottawa ahead of performances at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts on June 29 and The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on June 30.

The Flecktones start July with an appearance at the Montreal Jazz Festival on the 1st. Likely, the group will soon add more dates leading up the next confirmed performance, which will take place in Kansas City on July 9. Another gig confirmed by the band, that will also feature The Wood Brothers, is set for KettleHouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Montana on July 12.

In other Béla news, the banjoist will soon become a father, again. Fleck’s wife and musical partner, Abigail Washburn, revealed she is pregnant and due in June:
