Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn Announce ‘Banjo House Lockdown’ Live Stream

Husband and wife banjoists Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn will perform the first installment of their Banjo House Lockdown live stream series from home in Nashville. The webcast will begin on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. ET via Facebook Live.

“Life without other people is fine, but life without banjos would be intolerable!” said Béla in a statement. “So we’re gonna sing and play our banjos to keep everyone from going batty.”

The pair previewed the series yesterday, St. Patrick’s Day, by recording and unveiling a take on the traditional Irish song “Molly Malone.” Watch the video, which features their children Juno and Theo, below:
