Husband-and-wife duo Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn played before a capacity crowd at Freight & Salvage in Berkeley on Friday night. The pair focused on songs off their 2014 self-titled album, swapped stories, gave historical background lessons about their instruments and also donated proceeds from ticket sales to local children music groups. Fleck and Washburn continue the tour in April with a series of East Coast dates to be followed by a Midwest swing in May.
