Harmony In Practice: Backline Conference Helps Mental Health Clinicians Support Music Industry

Music industry mental health nonprofit Backline will present Harmony in Practice, a clinical workshop for mental health practitioners. The third annual conference is set for August 8 and 9 at the Infinity Park Events Center in Denver.

Backline continues the organization’s important work with Harmony in Practice, which “provides mental health professionals with the specialized knowledge and tools needed to support music industry professionals facing unique challenges,” press materials for the event noted.

Expert-led discussions and interactive sessions will highlight those unique challenges musicians, crew members and other industry professionals face including “the psychological and emotional impact of touring, performance pressure, and industry demands on mental health and well-being.”

“This conference is designed to enhance clinical competency, expand access to relevant resources and ensure ethical, well-informed care for those navigating the high-pressure, unpredictable world of the music industry,” as per the press release.
