Legendary blues guitarist B.B. King was reportedly admitted to a hospital near his Las Vegas home. According to reports, King was taken to the hospital at approximately 3 p.m. yesterday by his daughter, Patty King, who saw her father was not eating and appeared dehydrated. After being observed by the medical staff it was determined the elder King may have suffered a heart attack, however, he was sent home later that evening.

The 89-year-old famed bluesman was hospitalized last month reportedly due to  complications related to his Type II diabetes. After a short stay, King posted a message to fans stating, “I want to thank everyone for their concern and good wishes. I’m feeling much better & am leaving the hospital today.”

TMZ’s report on yesterday’s hospital visit alleges Patty King is in conflict with B.B. King’s manager Laverne Toney -who has power of attorney over B.B. -over the quality of care the bluesman is receiving. TMZ alleges Patty and her husband filed a police report last year accusing Toney of elder abuse and burglary. A police investigation turned up no charges against Toney.
