The Avett Brothers earlier this year issued their ninth full-length album True Sadness through American/Republic Records. The Americana group has posted an official video for the album track “No Hard Feelings.”
The Avetts tapped the renowned Rick Rubin to produce the 12-track True Sadness. Featuring archival footage from throughout the band’s career, co-director and band member Seth Avett stated:
The video for “No Hard Feelings” is in some ways meant to be a counter balance to the rapid fire nature of the “Ain’t No Man” video. Whereas the first shows an aspect of our lives which is in constant motion, the second is a retro/introspective moment of calm. They both are comments on the present moment, but one is kinetic and the other is static.
