The Avett Brothers Add Tour Dates & Share New Single

On June 24 Americana act The Avett Brothers will issue their ninth studio album True Sadness through American/Republic Records. Today, the band has shared the first single from the follow-up to 2013’s Magpie & The Dandelion, entitled “Ain’t No Man.”
“I think of ‘Ain’t No Man’ as a self-motivating anthem,” said Seth Avett, “a kind of currency to buy a little courage when you’re having trouble feeling courageous on your own.” Stream “Ain’t No Man” here:
In addition to releasing the new track, The Avett Brothers also revealed several new stops on their current tour which saw them play Madison Square Garden last weekend. The collective will also be performing this summer in Salt Lake City, Utah; Portsmouth, Virginia; Boone, North Carolina; Columbus, Ohio; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Southhaven, Mississippi, as well as the Amphitheater at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York and at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, among many other planned shows. They will also be making an appearance as musical guests on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Performing on the Outdoor Stage in Hollywood on May 3.
