Audio | The Legacy Of Frank Zappa BBC Program

By Scott Bernstein Dec 12, 2013 12:30 pm PST

This past Sunday night the BBC premiered an audio feature about the life of Frank Zappa that featured interviews with his wife, his son and more as part of Stuart Maconie’s Freak Zone program.

BBC has shared the entire episode for streaming, though we only have three days before it’s pulled. You can stream the episode here. Bear in mind only part of the episode is about Frank. As a cheat sheet, at the 51-minute mark you can hear Gail Zappa’s remembrances of meeting Frank, at the 1:02 mark we hear Maconie’s chat with Dweezil Zappa about Frank’s thoughts on politics and Manchester composer Ben Cotrell talks FZ at the 1:13 mark before the final 30 minutes of the show are dedicated to Frank.

Listen to a clip of Gail talking about the impact of Frank’s death:
