Audio | Derek Trucks Shares JJ Cale-Inspired Instrumental

Guitarist Derek Trucks famously used the money he earned from touring with Eric Clapton to build a two-story recording and rehearsal space dubbed “Swamp Raga Studios” behind the house he shares with wife Susan Tedeschi. Last night DTrucks recorded with fellow talented axeman and one of his Clapton band mates, Doyle Bramhall II, and he has already shared audio of an instrumental the pair laid down. 

Doyle and Derek play all instruments on the earwormy track, which was inspired by JJ Cale, Mississippi and Mumbai. We’re hoping to hear more from pair, but for now feast your ears on the as-of-yet untitled instrumental Bramhall and Trucks have shared:
