AthFest 2011 will be held in downtown Athens, GA, June 22 through June 26, 2011. AthFest is the annual music and arts festival which benefits AthFest, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to music and arts education. The festival includes KIDSFest, a juried artisan market, film events and more!

This year approximately 150 bands and artists will perform on the 3 outdoor stages and in a dozen venues. This year’s headlining artists on the outdoor stages include: Futurebirds, Centro-Matic, Guadalcanal Diary, Chickasaw Mudd Puppies, and Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit. All performances on the outdoor stages are open to all ages and are free of charge to the public.

AthFest is still accepting submissions from artists/bands interested in performing at the festival. The deadline is April 15, 2011. AthFest is also seeking volunteers and artists for the juried artisan market. Information may be found on the website www.athfest.com.
