Armand Hammer & The Alchemist Reunite For New Album ‘Mercy’

Armand Hammer — the duo of rappers E L U C I D and billy woods — reunited with producer The Alchemist for a new album. Mercy is set for release on November 7 via Backwoodz Studioz/Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Mercy sees guest spots from Earl Sweatshirt, Quelle Chris, Cleo Reed, Pink Siifu, Kapwani and Silka. The new record marks Armand Hammer and The Alchemist’s second LP together following 2021’s Haram.

Armand Hammer and The Alchemist build worlds. Their first was Haram and it remains locked in orbit, equal parts lush and foreboding. Their new one is called Mercy and it’s made out of blood and empire, children’s laughter, unpaid parking tickets, and unkept secrets.

Armand Hammer’s last album together arrived in the form of 2023’s We Buy Diabetic Test Strips. Both Elucid and billy woods released acclaimed solo albums in the following years with ELUCID’s Revelator arriving in 2024 and billy woods’ LP Golliwog emerging earlier this year. Woods will tour around the record in North America and Europe this fall.

Armand Hammer and The Alchemist will also come together in a live setting for a show at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles on October 23. Find the tour date and ticket info for the artists below.
