Arlo McKinley shared the video for “She’s Always Around.” The song is from McKinely’s 2020 debut album, Die Midwestern, which arrived in August via the John Prine co-founded Oh Boy Records.

Emmy award-winning director Curren Sheldon (Heroin(e), Recovery Boys) helmed the video which he filmed at a safe distance in Lexington, Kentucky and Knoxville, Tennessee and features McKinely himself. The singer-songwriter and Oh Boy Records shared the visual as a fundraiser for Hope In The Hills’ Healing Appalachia, which will “provide Christmas meals and gifts to families in Appalachia affected by substance use disorder,” as per a press release.

“I wanted to work with Hope in the Hills in some way since Healing Appalachia had to be canceled this year due to covid,” McKinely shared in a statement. “I’ve seen first hand what that organization does for those in need of help with addiction. I thought that having an option to raise some money for them with the release of this video and this song in particular made sense.”
