Arcade Fire Welcomes Chrissie Hynde In London

Canadian rockers Arcade Fire continued a European arena tour on Wednesday night at the SSE Arena Wembley in London. The band was joined by vocalist Chrissie Hynde in the middle of their set for a Pretenders’ hit and ended the night with additional guests.
Crissie Hynde emerged after the evening’s sixth song to lead Arcade Fire through “Don’t Get Me Wrong.” Hynde & The Pretenders scored a top ten hit with “Don’t Get Me Wrong” in 1986. The vocalist returned to the stage for the evening’s grand finale of “Wake Up.” Openers and longtime Arcade Fire collaborators Preservation Hall Jazz Band also joined in for “Wake Up” as did Bryce Dessner of The National according to @ArcadeFireTube.
