Arcade Fire Offers ‘Everything Now’ Debuts At Infinite Content Tour Opening Show

Canadian rock band Arcade Fire opened their North American Infinite Content Tour last night in their home province of Quebec at Centre Vidéotron in Quebec City. The Montreal-born band is playing in support of their recently issued studio album Everything Now and on Tuesday evening they debuted several songs from the record.

Performing on a stage set up like a boxing ring, the Everything Now title track and fellow album cut “Signs Of Life” were featured to begin opening night. Later in the main set Win Butler led the group through “Put Your Money On Me,” another song from the new LP which had been performed only twice before at a pair of private concerts. The tour’s namesake song “Infinite Content,” which is also on the record made its live debut as well. The main set also saw selections from Arcade Fire’s previous releases, such as “Rebellion (Lies)” from Funeral, “No Cars Go” from Neon Bible, “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” from The Suburbs and “Here Comes the Night Time” off Reflektor.

The encore began with Win in among the crowd for the formal public debut of the Everything Now song “We Don’t Deserve Love” followed by the first-ever “Everything Now (Continued).” The show concluded with Funeral favorite “Wake Up.” Tonight Arcade Fire performs in their hometown with a show taking place at Centre Bell in Montreal.
