Back on Halloween, Aqueous presented a “Nick Toons”-themed show at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. The Buffalo-based quartet mixed originals with covers of songs from Nickelodeon cartoons. Aqueous shared pro-shot video of “Realize Your Light,” a track from their recently released Color Wheel album, filmed on October 31 in Brooklyn.

The members of the band dressed the part for the “Nick Toons” concert. Guitarist Mike Gantzer’s costume was Quailman from Doug, multi-instrumentalist Dave Loss was dressed as Chuckie from Rugrats, bassist Evan McPhaden went as Rocko from Rocko’s Modern Life and drummer Rob Houk was dressed as Ren from Ren & Stimpy. Aqueous opened with “Killer Tofu” from Doug and then played “Realize Your Light.” The band described the new song as “a hopeful message of positivity that life is far too short to not live it to the fullest potential, and that if one can recognize their purpose, they could likely achieve anything.” Watch footage of “Realize Your Light” captured on Halloween by MKDevo:
