Angus Young Guests With Guns N’ Roses On AC/DC Classics In Sydney

Rockers Guns N’ Roses brought a tour of Asia and Australia to Sydney on Friday and Saturday nights for performances at ANZ Stadium. Each night, the band was joined by Australian guitarist Angus Young for a pair of AC/DC songs towards the end of GN’R’s main set.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose famously stepped in to lead AC/DC on a series of tour dates last year after Brian Johnson was forced to step down due to hearing problems. Angus Young emerged without his signature school uniform on Friday and Saturday to add to GN’R’s versions of “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff” each night. Young had previously sat-in with Guns N’ Roses at the 2016 Coachella festival. Outside of Angus’s appearances, both GN’R shows in Sydney featured similar setlists to other Not In This Lifetime tour stops.
