Angus Young Guests With Guns N’ Roses At Coachella

Just hours after AC/DC confirmed Axl Rose will lead them on the continuation of their Rock Or Bust World Tour, the band’s guitarist – Angus Young – sat-in with Guns N’ Roses at Coachella.

Angus joined GN’R for takes on AC/DC classics “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff” towards the end of the newly reunited rockers’ headlining set at the Indio, California festival. GN’R frontman Axl Rose was still relegated to using Dave Grohl’s throne as the singer recovers from a foot injury. Young was dressed in his signature school boy outfit.

The rest of Guns N’ Roses 25-song performance at Coachella featured a similar script to the first three shows Rose has played with the reunited lineup that includes guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan. GN’R mixed classics and covers on Saturday night and even threw in a bit of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.” Axl Rose kicks off his time with AC/DC on May 7 in Lisbon, Portugal.
