Angélique Kidjo announced a livestream special for her Batonga Foundation that will feature performances from Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Josh Groban and Yemi Alade. The online event will take place on Tuesday, December 8 at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

Grammy-winning singer Angelique Kidjo founded Batonga — the name of one of her popular songs — in 2006. The foundation’s mission is to aid “adolescent girls and young women through education, mentoring and support in planning their professional futures,” as per a press release, in Kidjo’s home country of Benin in West Africa.

British-Nigerian journalist Femi Oke will host the event which will take viewers on a virtual trip to villages in Benin where Batonga works to “see firsthand how investing in adolescent girls and young women reinforce solidarity, builds social networks and creates a vibrant women-led local business community.” The event will also see an appearance by South African model, activist and lawyer Thando Hopa.

While the event is free, donations are encouraged to support Batonga. Head here to register and check out an announcement video for the fundraiser below via Batonga’s Facebook page:
