Anders Osborne Goes Acoustic At Troubadour Hollywood: Photos & Setlist

On Friday night the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood hosted a pair of singer-songwriters that are just as comfortable leading bands as they are performing solo. Texas tunesmith James McMurtry kicked off the action with just his guitar and voice before New Orleans rocker Anders Osborne took the stage to show off his songs could be just as powerful in an acoustic setting. Osborne treated the crowd to a number of songs off his recently released Flower Box LP including the title track and “Fool’s Gold,” while picking gems from his back catalog such as “Burning Up Slowly,” “Ash Wednesday Blues” and “Back On Dumaine” to fill up the rest of his set.
