Amy Helm shared a new single, “Sweet Mama.” The song will appear on the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album, What The Flood Leaves Behind, due out through Renew Records/BMG on June 18.
Helm announced What The Flood Leaves Behind, produced by Josh Kaufman, in March and shared the single “Breathing.” Amy released “Are We Running Out Of Love” in April and now follows with “Sweet Mama,” which was written by Steve Salett, and features Phil Cook on harmonica.

Helm also announced a batch of tour dates for this spring and summer beginning with a guest-filled three-date run at Levon Helm Studios in her hometown of Woodstock, New York beginning on Sunday, May 9 and continuing at the end of the month before she hits the road.
“Spring is here and the music is moving me to get back out on the road!” Helm said in a statement. “No Zoom links just a joyful noise with real people in real time! We’ve put together a handful of selective dates this summer. Can’t wait to see you out there.”
