Amos Lee is set to issue a new album entitled My New Moon through Dualtone Records on August 31. The singer-songwriter shared the single “Crooked” from his seventh studio LP.
Described as not only “Lee’s most personal collection, but his most politically outspoken as well,” My New Moon consists of 10 new originals. The record was produced by Tony Berg at Zeitgeist Studio in Los Angeles and features contributions from keyboardists Benmont Tench, Patrick Warren and Jaron Olevsky, multi-instrumentalists Blake Mills and Ethan Gruska and pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz, with Rob Moose on strings.
