Amanda Shires Performs For The Current

Amanda Shires recently visited Minnesota public radio station The Current for an in-studio performance. Pro-shot video of four songs from Amanda’s set have been shared by The Current.

Shires, keyboardist Peter Levin and guitarist Seth Plemmons focused on songs from Amanda’s 2018 studio album, To The Sunset during the session hosted by Bill DeVille. The trio starts with a stripped-down rendition of “Parking Lot Pirouette” and then perform the pretty ballad “Swimmer.” Next up is To The Sunset single “Break Out The Champagne” before Shires trades in her violin for ukulele on “White Feather.”
