Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin was purchased by Florida-based Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. The $7.5 million acquisition includes the 150-acre property’s 37,000-capacity amphitheater, which is currently leased to Live Nation for the next 11 years.
“We are pleased to add Alpine Valley Music Theatre to our growing single tenant net lease portfolio,” said Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. president and CEO John P. Albright. “This iconic venue leased by Live Nation brings not only a high-quality asset but a strong tenant to our portfolio.”
Since opening in 1977, Alpine Valley Music Theatre has hosted concerts by the likes of the Grateful Dead, Dead & Company, Phish, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett and several others. No concerts were held at the venue in 2017, but both Phish and DMB were among the acts that returned this year. The Who plays the venue this weekend and Farm Aid — featuring Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and more — will be held at Alpine Valley on September 21.
