ALO & The Brothers Comatose Cover Weezer & Creedence Clearwater Revival

ALO‘s 11th Tour D’Amour is well underway after recent performances in Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Solana Beach. While the first two shows of the run with “An Evening With ALO” affairs, the band was joined by The Brothers Comatose on Friday at The Troubadour in Los Angeles and on Saturday at the Belly Up in Solana Beach.

ALO and The Brothers Comatose wound up collaborating on both Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday the two bands came together at The Troubadour to cover “Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. ALO’s set in Los Angeles also featured takes on “Happy Together” by The Turtles, Paul Simon’s “Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard” and a bevy of originals such as “Walls Of Jericho,” “Shapeshifter” and “Falling Dominoes.” On Saturday in Solana Beach The Brothers Comatose led ALO through a cover of Weezer’s “Say It Ain’t So.” ALO’s performance at the Belly Up included fan-favorite originals “Try,” “BBQ,” “I Love Music,” “Plastic Bubble” and more.
