Allman Brothers & Grateful Dead Book Signing & Discussion
By Scott Bernstein May 4, 2015 • 1:00 pm PDT

Paul and Browne will interview each other and will discuss the similarities and differences between The Allman Brothers Band and Grateful Dead at NYC’s Book Culture on Manhattan’s Upper West Side (450 Columbus Ave.) on May 7 at 7 p.m. Both authors will sign copies of their books.
Alan Paul’s One Way Out is an oral history of The Allmans featuring contributions from nearly every important figure in the legendary group’s long and illustrious career. A new paperback edition of the book brings the story right up to last October’s finale. David Browne’s So Many Roads tells the story of the Grateful Dead in the context of about a dozen of the most important dates in band history. Both books should appeal to a wide variety of fans ranging from casual listeners to those who’ve attended hundreds of each band’s live performances.
