Allen Stone released a stripped-down rendition of his song, “Where You’re At.” The reimagined version of the tune is the second single off the Washington-based soul artist’s upcoming acoustic album, Apart, due out on November 12 via ATO Records.
Stone announced Apart — an acoustic collection of songs from throughout his career — earlier this month and shared the album’s only cover, Bob Marley’s “Is This Love,” as the lead single. The latest offering from Apart, “Where You’re At,” originally appears on Stone’s 2015 album Radius.

Allen detailed “Where You’re At” in a statement:
“Of all the songs on this collection of recordings, this tune holds a special place,” Stone said. “I wrote it in a particularly dark period of my life and has since been a consistent reminder to practice gratitude, to search for the silver lining and rest your mind on those things: love where you’re at.”
