(((folkYEAH!))) will premiere a concert film featuring performances from Alex Bleeker and Kacey Johansing recorded earlier this year at The Henry Miller Memorial Library in Big Sur, California starting tomorrow (Friday, June 25) at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and streaming through July 4 at 12 a.m. PT with tickets available here. JamBase is pleased to preview the concert film by sharing Bleeker’s cover of the Grateful Dead’s “They Love Each Other.”
Night Bloom Records artist Kacey Johansing took the stage at the iconic venue first. Then, Alex Bleeker and his band played songs from the Real Estate multi-instrumentalist’s recently released Heaven On The Faultline album as well as classic Grateful Dead tunes.

The concert film was captured on March 28, 2021, just weeks after Heaven On The Faultline came out. Alex was joined for his performance by bassist Danny Vitali, keyboardist James Wallace of Skyway Man, Farallons lead guitarist Andrew Brennan and drummer Dylan Squires.
“They Love Each Other” was played during a set of Dead songs. Jerry Garcia wrote the tune with Robert Hunter and included a version on his 1976 solo album, Reflections. The Grateful Dead debuted “TLEO” live on February 9, 1973 at Stanford University’s Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, California.
