Alan Evans Re-Joins Karl Densons Tiny Universe

There’s big news from the Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe camp this afternoon, as the band has announced Soulive drummer Alan Evans has returned to the group on a full-time basis.

Evans was a member of KDTU back in the late ’90s and shared the following on his Facebook page, “That’s right people, I’m going to be playing with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe again!! I’m getting ready to head out for rehearsals and my first shows back with the KDTU since 1998. It’s was a big surprise and an honor to get the call from my good friend Karl asking if I would join KDTU once again. Things are going to be really busy for me but I’m psyched I’ll see you all out in the world with Soulive and Karl.”

Next up for Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe is a late night performance at Brooklyn Bowl’s Las Vegas outpost on Friday night.
