Former MLB pitcher and current musician Adam Wainwright shared a video tracing his recent Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville. The longtime St. Louis Cardinals ace took fans on a behind-the-scenes journey through his momentous milestone.
In the video, Wainwright delivers a similar “old man walk” as he did in the final years of his career in the nation’s ballparks. Adam’s charisma is also on full display as he greets folks outside the Opry.

Additionally, the clip sees Wainwright backstage with his family as he gives a bit of history on his longtime love for country music. The video then moves through Adam’s soundcheck and performance — including his introduction by passionate Cardinals fan and bluegrass legend Sam Bush — of the title track to his debut album, Hey Y’all.
