4K HD Videos & Soundboard Audio From Vulfpeck’s Brooklyn Bowl Opener Surface

By Scott Bernstein Sep 9, 2016 1:40 pm PDT

On Thursday night Michigan fun act Vulfpeck continued a four-night run in New York City with their first of three sold-out shows at Brooklyn Bowl. The band switched it up a bit from Wednesday’s fantastic SummerStage performance, but did feature a few of the same guests including legendary drummer Bernard Purdie, up-and-coming ace guitarist Cory Wong and Brooklyn percussionist Richie Rodriguez. A series of 4K, high-definition of some of the evening’s highlights have been shared by videographer LazyLightning55, while taper Eric McRoberts has uploaded a soundboard matrix recording of the entire show.

Watch below as “Pretty” Purdie performs covers of “Something” (The Beatles) and “Kid Charlemagne” (Steely Dan) with Vulfpeck as well as a clip of the original “Fugue State” and vocalist Antwaun Stanley leading the group on Stevie Wonder’s “Boogie On Reggae Woman” and then listen to the whole gig:
