Foo Fighters current tour has been filled with guest spots and fun covers. That trend continued last night at Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana – aka Deer Creek – where Blues Traveler front man John Popper sat-in with the band as reported by Jambands.com.
Popper came out towards the end of the evening to add harmonica to a jam out of “This Is A Call.” Watch how it went down thanks to oslang1:
Dave Grohl & Co.’s Noblesville tour stop also saw the Foos cover Queen, Rush, Van Halen, Sex Pistols, The Kinks and Yes.
John Popper took to Facebook to discuss both his guest appearance with the Foos and another recent cameo with Bruce Hornsby. “I had two great sit-ins this week a real fun one w/Bruce Hornsby in Asheville NC at the Biltmore Estates…He & I’d worked before some time ago but such a fun jam again!…Unfortunately I have no photo… But then last night I finally went to my first Foo Fighters concert & when you get to play with them the first time you see them live, you are kinda spoiled!! Long on my bucket list, they are such a great band and such a great family. Dave’s daughters were adorable and each received a fresh harp.”
