Strings & Sol :: 12.11.15 :: Now Sapphire Resort :: Puerto Morelos, Mexico

The 2015 installment of Strings & Sol continued on Friday at Now Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Attendees spent the day lounging by the pool or taking part in a ping-pong tournament with members of Yonder, getting autographs from the musicians or any of a number of other activities at the resort or excursions to the surrounding areas. Railroad Earth opened the action on the Main Stage. The New Jersey- based jamgrass act welcomed Larry Keel for “1759,” Anders Beck for “Hard Livin'” and Allie Kral for “Fisherman’s Blues.” Fruition then played a set that saw them team with one of their heroes, Sam Bush, on “Pancho & Lefty,” “The Wanter” and “Get Along.” Up next was Greensky Bluegrass who brought out Bush for “Worried About The Weather” and “Demons,” with the latter also featuring Jay Cobb Anderson of Fruition.
