Photos: Strings & Sol Begins With Collaboration Heavy Day

Strings & Sol :: 12.10.15 :: Now Sapphire Resort :: Puerto Morelos, Mexico
The 2015 installment of Strings & Sol began on Thursday at Now Sapphire Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Day One of the four-day event saw attendees get settled before the music started on Main Stage. Fans were treated to soundchecks before the event truly got started with its traditional Welcome Toast. Then, Yonder Mountain String Band took the stage on the beach for a lengthy set that featured sit-ins from Sam Bush, Tim Carbone, John Skehan, Larry Keel and Anders Beck. Leftover Salmon closed out the Main Stage action on Thursday and also welcomed plenty of guests including Bonnie Paine of Elephant Revival, Keel and Bush. The famed multi-instrumentalist brought together his Sam Bush Band outfit for a late night performance inside at The Palapa.
