Joni Mitchell Hospitalized

Renowned folk artist Joni Mitchell is currently being treated in the intensive care unit of a Los Angeles area hospital. Mitchell, 71, was found unconscious in her Bel-Air home Tuesday afternoon and was soon after rushed to the hospital. According to a post on her official website, Mitchell regained consciousness while in the ambulance and is currently being tested in the ICU, but is “is awake and in good spirits.”

Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital. She is currently in intensive care undergoing tests and is awake and in good spirits. More updates to come as we hear them. Light a candle and sing a song, let’s all send good wishes her way.
