Bears Picnic | Kimock Garcia Tribute, Leftover Salmon & More

The 10th annual Bear’s Picnic music festival will take place August 6 -10 at Liberty Festival Grounds in Roaring Branch, Pennsylvania. Festival organizers have announced the initial lineup for the festival which features headliners Leftover Salmon and Steve Kimock’s Garcia Tribute.

Kimock will bring a different version of his Jerry Garcia tribute band to Bear’s Picnic than the one that began a tour last night in New York City. Drummer Jay Lane (Primus, RatDog) will be behind the kit while Bill Vitt and John Morgan Kimock are on drums during the current tour. We’ll soon find out who will join Kimock, Lane and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti at Bear’s Picnic. New Riders of the Purple Stage, Pink Talking Fish and David Gans are among the other artists on the initial Bear’s Picnic lineup.
