Wanee Festival 2015 Initial Lineup Announcement

This morning, the initial lineup for the Wanee Festival 2015 has been revealed. While former co-hosts The Allman Brothers Band said farewell in October, many of the group’s members will perform at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida between April 16 -18.

Gregg Allman is bringing his solo band to Wanee, Warren Haynes will be on hand with Gov’t Mule, Butch Trucks is putting together a group for the festival, Oteil Burbridge has also formed a group to play Wanee and Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band is also set to perform at the long-running event. Georgia rockers Widespread Panic have been tapped to headline Wanee 2015, where they’ll play on both Friday and Saturday nights. In a blast from the past, both Earth Wind & Fire and Cheap Trick are among the Wanee ’15 acts announced today as are The Word, Hot Tuna Electric, JJ Grey & Mofro and Galactic. We’re also excited to see that The Nth Power will play a Steely Dan tribute set at the fest.

Three-day tickets and VIP packages go on sale Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m. ET via the festival’s ticketing site.
