By Scott Bernstein Jun 3, 2014 6:50 am PDT

In September of 1999 Leftover Salmon released a fantastic album called The Nashville Sessions, which included 13 tracks that each featured impressive contributions from a star-studded list of guests such as Bela Fleck, John Popper, Del McCoury, Taj Mahal and Lucinda Williams. On September 15 Leftover Salmon will celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Nashville Sessions will a special performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

For this one-night-only event, LoS will be joined by special guests John Bell, Sam Bush, Jeff Coffin, John Cowan, Jeff Hanna, Taj Mahal, Todd Park Mohr, Bill Payne, Randy Scruggs, Jo-El Sonnier, Sally Van Meter and Reese Wynans. “Recording the Nashville sessions was like a musical fantasy island for us. We’d have Earl Scruggs come in the morning, Taj Mahal in the afternoon and Waylon Jennings the next day. We were loving it. It’s still dreamlike thinking about it years later. I sure treasure having had the chance to play with such iconic figures, especially those who have passed on, including our brother Mark Vann. I’m going to savor the chance to make music with the great cast of characters assembled at the Ryman that night. Life is short. Art is long,” Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman said in a statement.

A special limited fan club pre-sale begins on Wednesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. CT and will end on June 5 at 10 p.m. CT via Ticketmaster using the code “Nashsess15”.
