Fashion Superstar L’Wren Scott Found Dead

There’s sad news this morning from New York City as fashion model and designer L’Wren Scott has been found dead at an apartment in Chelsea. Scott, who has been dating Mick Jagger, reportedly used a scarf to hang herself according to the New York Post.

L’Wren Scott started dating Jagger in 2001 and the pair has been seen together numerous times ever since. The Rolling Stones are about to begin a tour of Australia. A representative of the band tells the Post Jagger is “completely shocked and devastated.”

Scott, whose real name is Luann Bambrough, was born in 1967. She followed a successful career as a model by establishing herself as a stylist. In 2006 L’Wren debuted her own label and has since launched a number of collections.
