Bruce Hornsby Planning Fall Jaunt With Bob Weir

For those of us who were fans of 2012’s pairing of former Grateful Dead band mates Bob Weir and Bruce Hornsby comes the news that the duo are planning to head out together on tour this fall.

In an interview with Access Atlanta (as pointed out by Jambands.com) Hornsby says, “I’m doing two tours this year. With Pat Metheny, I’m going to open for him and he’s going to play with me. That’s July-August. Then September-October Bob Weir and I will head out, which we’ve done a few times…”

We hope they spend the majority of September and October on the road, so they can hit a number of cities they missed during 2012’s “Alone And Together” outing. For a taste of what we can expect from the as-of-yet unannounced tour, check out this medley Bobby and Bruce laid down:
