For this very special early show, Cubensis welcomes author-photographer Rosie McGee, presenting photos and excerpts from her book, “Dancing with the Dead—A Photographic Memoir" for an intimate and revealing portrait of the good old days with the Grateful Dead and the San Francisco music scene 1964-1974, as witnessed by a Dead family insider. A Q&A session will follow her audio/visual presentation, followed by two sets from Cubensis. CUBENSIS brings the Grateful Dead concert experience back to life. Drawing from all eras of the Dead, the band performs a three-hour set of Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band classics that retains all the spontaneous exploratory jamming for which the bands were reknown. However, the music produced is uniquely Cubensis. The group has been acclaimed for giving new life to the Grateful Dead’s material, bringing in new styles, new innovations, and new jam band enthusiasts, while at the same time remaining loyal to the original music and the original fans.: Ticket Price: $12; Door Time:8pm; Show Time:9pm; Ages:21 & Up
