The Claypool Lennon Delirium Unveils New Video & Announces Support

Primus frontman Les Claypool and Sean Lennon will release the debut album from their The Claypool Lennon Delirium project on June 3. Today, the pair have unveiled the lyric video for the first single off Monolith Of Phobos, “Cricket and The Genie (Movement I, The Delirium),” ahead of their upcoming tour. The Claypool Lennon Delirium have also revealed the openers for the tour including a pair of JamBase favorites.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium kicks off their first tour at Beacham in Orlando, Florida on June 4. Psychedelic act JJUUJJUU will open most shows on the tour which is currently slated to run through early September. Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo’s Dean Ween Group will support TCLD at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio on June 17 and The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on June 18. Marco Benevento has been tapped to open The Claypool Lennon Delirium’s August 31st show at The Fillmore in Philadelphia as well as a show at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on September 1.

Claypool and Lennon will be joined by Mark Ramos Nishita of the Beastie Boys and Paul Baldi of the Fungi Band to form the Claypool Lennon Delirium live band.
