Using the rich musical landscape of Boulder, CO as their muse, the Motet continues
to reinvent their sound while staying true to their various roots. Founded in
1998 by drummer Dave Watts, the Motet has become one of the best improvisational
bands touring today, fusing elements of Afrobeat, Afro-Cuban, funk, latin, and
