Mike Mattison and Paul Olsen both hail from Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Schooled individually in jazz, roots and funk music, they began playing together in the mid-1990's and were recognized with Minnesota Music Award nominations for the best R&B group and best male vocalist.
